Terms & Conditions.
Last updated · 15 May 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Aesthetics By FKA website and the treatments and consultations booked through it. By booking an appointment or using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms. The clinic is operated by F. Khairunnessa, trading as Aesthetics By FKA, from 73 Trent Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU3 1SZ.
2. Bookings & Deposits
All appointments are confirmed only once a deposit has been received. The deposit is 20% of the treatment price and is fully redeemable against the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if the cancellation policy below is met.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. To allow us to offer your slot to another client, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice of any cancellation or rescheduling.
- ✦More than 48 hours' notice: your deposit will be carried over to the new appointment
- ✦Less than 48 hours' notice or non-attendance: the deposit is forfeited in full
- ✦Repeated late cancellations may require full pre-payment of future bookings
4. Consultations & Suitability
Every treatment begins with an honest, no-pressure consultation. We reserve the right to decline, postpone, or modify any treatment if, in our clinical judgement, it is not safe or appropriate for you. In such cases, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a suitable alternative.
You are responsible for providing accurate medical history. Withholding relevant information may affect your safety, the result of your treatment, and our ability to honour these terms.
5. Treatment Courses & Packages
Where treatments are purchased as a course (e.g. laser hair removal courses of 6 or 8), the discounted package price assumes completion of all sessions within twelve months of the first appointment. Courses are non-refundable but may be transferred to another individual subject to a fresh consultation.
6. Aftercare & Results
Following your treatment, you will receive written aftercare guidance. Adhering to this is essential, as failure to follow aftercare can compromise results and increase the risk of side effects, for which the clinic cannot accept responsibility.
Aesthetic results vary from person to person depending on skin type, lifestyle, medical history, and adherence to aftercare. While we use evidence-based products and protocols, no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
7. Payment
The balance for your treatment is due in full on the day of your appointment. We accept all major debit and credit cards. Card details for deposits are processed securely by our payment provider and are not stored by the clinic.
By booking with Aesthetics By FKA, you enter into a binding agreement to pay the full price of the treatment or treatment course agreed at the time of booking. Once a treatment or course of treatments has commenced, you are liable for the full balance regardless of whether you choose to complete the remaining sessions.
Discontinuing a treatment plan midway, for any reason other than a documented medical contraindication confirmed by us, does not release you from the obligation to settle any outstanding balance.
8. Outstanding Balances & Recovery
If any balance remains unpaid following your appointment or after a course has commenced, we will issue a written reminder by email. Payment is expected within seven (7) days of that reminder.
Where a balance remains outstanding beyond this period, Aesthetics By FKA reserves the full legal right to recover the debt through any lawful means, including but not limited to:
- ✦Instructing a licensed debt-recovery agency to collect the outstanding amount
- ✦Issuing a claim through the County Court (Money Claim Online) under the laws of England and Wales
- ✦Reporting the unpaid debt to relevant credit reference agencies where applicable
- ✦Recovering reasonable late-payment interest, administration fees, and any legal or recovery costs incurred
Late-payment interest will accrue at a rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate from the date the balance became due until the date of settlement. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that any judgment obtained against you may affect your credit record.
9. Lateness
Please arrive five minutes before your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your treatment to avoid impacting other clients, in which case the late cancellation policy may apply.
10. Children & Guests
For safety, insurance, and privacy reasons, we are unable to accommodate children, additional guests, or pets in the treatment room. Please make appropriate arrangements before attending.
11. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost vouchers cannot be replaced.
12. Your Right to Cancel (Online Bookings)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, when you book a treatment online you usually have 14 days from the date of booking to change your mind. If you book an appointment scheduled to take place within that 14-day window, by paying your deposit and confirming the appointment date you are expressly asking us to begin providing the service before the cancellation period ends and acknowledging that, once treatment has been carried out, your right to cancel ends.
If you cancel before any treatment is performed but within 48 hours of your appointment, the late-cancellation policy in section 3 applies and your deposit is forfeited. Outside of that 48-hour window, you may cancel without charge.
13. Complaints
Your wellbeing is our priority. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please contact F. Khairunnessa directly at firdoskhairunnessa@icloud.com within 14 days of your appointment. We will acknowledge your concern within three working days and aim to resolve it within fourteen.
If, after our internal complaints process, you remain unhappy, you may escalate the matter to one of the external bodies relevant to our practice: Save Face (savedface.co.uk), the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (jccp.org.uk) for aesthetic concerns, or the General Dental Council (gdc-uk.org) for any dental hygiene or whitening concern. You may also contact your local Trading Standards office through the Citizens Advice consumer helpline.
14. Website Use
All content on this website, including text, photography, and branding, is the property of Aesthetics By FKA and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any material without our prior written consent.
While we make every effort to keep information accurate and up to date, the website is provided "as is" and treatment availability, pricing, and protocols may change without notice.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any treatment shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that treatment.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
